The citadel of Diest was build in the beginning of the 19 the century and is the homebase of the 1 ste Para Diest.
In 1954 it was named Kwartier Luitenant Freddy Limbosch. Freddy Limbosch was luitenant during World War II and died in 1944 in Peer.

The main entrance of the headquartres (picture left) is situated on the Leuvensestraat.

A visit of the citadel is possible during the weekend of our flyin. On saturday, a bus is leaving at 12H45 out of Schaffen. The last bus is leaving the citadel back to the airfield at 18H00. Click here for the bus schedule.
