You can find the latest NOTAM for the Belgian aerodromes on the website of Belgocontrol.

1 - Arrival time
 
As there will be no military activity on the airfield on Friday the 14th, you can arrive as from 11:00 hrs local time (09:00 Z).

2 - Runways at Schaffen airfield.
 
The runway on our field is situated in the 06-24 direction.
For RWY 24 a RH circuit is applicable.
For RWY 06 a LH circuit is applicable.

3 - Aerobatics
 
Please be advised that due to the specific character of our Fly-in, we cannot tolerate any aerobatic manoeuvres.

5 - Activities and advantages.
 
During the weekend, each crew may make use of the following benefits:

• A lunch with drink will be offered on the day of arrival.
• A free guided tour of the Citadel on saturday from 2 PM.
• Camping possibilities on the airfield, near your airplane.
• Transportation to and from hotels at 3,00 EUR per person for the whole weekend.
• A barbecue, at 15,00 EUR per person, on Saturday evening at the airfield, followed by the prize-giving for selected airplanes and pilots. Prize categories will include best restoration, oldest plane, best Stampe, oldest pilot, youngest pilot, etc.

6 - Accomodations.
 

• Small hotels are available. Reservation according to available possibilities.
• Please note that we can only confirm your hotel reservation after we have received a deposit of 100,00 EUR (by Euro-Cheque).
• We offer transport to and from the hotels for 3,00 EUR per person for the weekend.
• Camping in a tent near your airplane is allowed.
• No credit cards services available on the airfield.
